PRIVACY
RTP99 POS Privacy Notice
This notice explains how RTP99 processes information for the POS product website and hosted POS services.
Effective September 28, 2026
Information RTP99 POS may process
Depending on configuration, POS workflows may process user accounts and roles, restaurant settings, menu and inventory records, order and payment metadata, customer contact details, loyalty information, device events, audit logs and support information.
Restaurant-controlled customer data
For customer ordering, the restaurant or tenant generally determines what customer information is collected and which workflows are enabled. Tenant-specific privacy and messaging notices can be presented on the restaurant's own ordering pages.
How data is used
Information is used to provide ordering and fulfillment, authenticate staff, process configured payments, send requested or consented communications, synchronize configured systems, secure the service, troubleshoot issues and maintain operational records.
Providers and integrations
Configured services such as payment processors, SMS, email, telephony, hosting and AI providers may receive the minimum information needed for their enabled workflow. Their own privacy practices and contractual terms also apply.
AI-enabled features
RTP99 does not use tenant restaurant data to train an RTP99-owned general-purpose foundation model. If an external AI provider is enabled, submitted content may be processed by that provider according to the selected service and configuration.
Retention and security
Retention depends on product configuration, operational needs, customer agreements and legal requirements. RTP99 uses role-based access, audit records and other technical safeguards, while recognizing that no system can guarantee absolute security.
Questions and requests
End customers should normally contact the restaurant that collected their information. Product-level privacy questions can be sent through Contact RTP99.
